I made this book to add context to my work “Return”. When you turn the pages of the book, through this process you can see how this place has changed over the years. This continuous process is like a city that is constantly changing and developing. The history and the changes are also my personal development.
This project originates from a childhood memory. My family and I used to live here, but have since moved out. Upon returning to this place in 2023, I was shocked to see that the areas once inhabited by humans had lost their functionality. Nature had transformed from a guardian to a ruler in this area.
However, in my heart, it remains as beautiful as it once was. Therefore, every time I return, I observe its development and changes and document them through photography. To this day, this place has turned into a ruin.
