This work isolates the eave as a minimal architectural fragment — a structure that extends outward, offering a zone of partial protection.

An eave does not enclose; it mediates. It creates a threshold between inside and outside, exposure and shelter. It is a boundary that depends on presence — on someone standing beneath it.

In this installation, the structure remains clear and legible. The lines hold. The construction appears stable. Yet the covering is incomplete. Protection is suggested, but never fully secured.

The work does not reconstruct a house, nor does it stage a collapse. Instead, it presents a condition in which shelter persists as a form, while its assurance quietly erodes.

The eave stands as a boundary that still occupies space, but no longer guarantees refuge. What remains is not absence, but a structure that continues without the certainty it once carried.
